The mission of the revitalized KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT: to offer a cutting-edge interpretation of a sports bike for long distance travel without sacrifices. 175 hp and 141 Nm of torque. The power is more effortlessly controlled than ever before thanks to Quickshifter+ for incredibly smooth up- and downshifting. Now with a new, more
sophisticated setup, the latest WP semi-active suspension means that the GT always delivers precise handling – regardless of the load or road. Chief among the electronics suite is lean angle sensitivity for braking power and traction control, as well as cruise control and several ride modes that include the optional ‘Track’ mode. The new windshield has great aerodynamics and is safely adjustable on the go. Behind it now sits a 6.5-inch full color TFT display with KTM MY RIDE smartphone connectivity for fully intuitive operation of a plethora of functions, including navigation. Then there are practical touches, such as handguards and the new storage compartments inside the tank spoilers, one of which has a USB charging hub. Form and function coalesce in the powerful new LED headlight and tank spoiler-mounted LED cornering lights to form an instantly recognizable DUKE family “face”.
